Veblen

Learn finance, one idea at a time.

Veblen is an iPhone and iPad app for learning how money works: short lessons in order, practice that sticks, and one real-world money decision every week.

The public beta on TestFlight opens in October 2026.

Learn

Courses built lesson by lesson, starting with Financial Accounting: the balance sheet, the income statement, cash flow and the ratios that tell you whether a business is any good. One small business, a bike repair shop, runs through every unit, and every statement is drawn from its numbers.

Practice

Quizzes and flashcards for every lesson, and quick drills on flags and capitals, currencies, percentages and what countries export. Progress builds as you get things right, without a nagging schedule.

Today's Decision

Each week tells a short story with a money decision to make every day. See what your choices lead to, and how others chose.

Made for where you are

Read in English or Norwegian. Lessons show what is different in the United States, in Norway and under international rules, from statement layouts to the names of the numbers.

Free, with no ads and no tracking. Learning only, not financial advice.
